NY Bill A9175 - Standard Operating Procedures
Standard Operating Procedures In accordance with Chapter 153 of the New York State Laws of 2022, effective April 20, 2022: Chenango County Realty's standard operating procedures for working with Buyer Clients and Customers:
b) Exclusive Broker Agreement: No, Chenango County Realty does not require an Exclusive Right to Represent agreement when working with Buyer Clients. All our agents work dilligently and in a professional manner. c) Pre-Qualification for Mortgages/Proof of Funds: No, we do not require all buyer clients and customers to get prequalified for a mortgage or provide proof of funds. As part of our normal business practices, we walk buyers through the process of prequalification if they have not already done so. We will meet with buyers in person at our office, or through phone/video appointments to get buyers prequalified prior to showing properties. Part of our job as Full Service Realtors is to assist buyers in every step of the home buying process. NOTE: Although Broker may not require such information, a seller of real estate may require this information prior to showing the property and/or as part of any purchase offer |
